Welcome, the rules and my 11 facts

Hello and welcome to our class blog which we'll be using for the blog tag challenge.

Rules

This is how it works: You should:

  • post 11 random facts about yourself
  • answer 11 questions posed by the one who tagged you
  • write 11 questions for another student and tag her/him

All this has to be posted within 7 days since you were tagged - else, you lose!

To sum up: 7 - 11 - 11 - 11:
7 days - 11 facts - 11 answers - 11 questions

  1. What does it mean to be a senior contributor? Do you have reviews about Azerbajan?
Would you advice your students to join ETAI?

    1. 1) it means I contribute a lot :) Meanwhile I've been promoted to Top Contributor (more than 50 reviews)
      2) No but there's a post on my blog called "Baku: beautiful but undiscovered"
      3) I think I explained it in the first lesson: I believe that during three years at David Yellin you've worked on writing essays. Writing a blog is a different genre of writing which is very popular today and it's good for you to have a go at this, less formal style of writing.

  2. I guess most of my classmates are scared to write any comments about your facts since you are a teacher ))
I like your fact about Alfred Hedgehog ))).
I am also not keen on okra. I even asked my money back in restaurant when I first time tried okra. I just thought that the dish was spoiled.
I can imagine you as a tour guide, you must know many historical facts. Where did you work as a tour guide?
    Why don't you like Skype?

    1. Thank you, Alina.

      Yeah I don't know why. I don't think I'm that scary...

I was tour-guiding (unofficially) in Cyprus a bit. I've also accompanied groups (as a tour leader) to Thailand and... Jerusalem!

Re Skype I prefer to talk on the regular phone because then I can do other things at the same time (e.g. the dishes) instead of sitting in front of a computer and staring at the screen.
