The 11 Facts Challenge - Aya Jaber


11 facts:


1. I was a major tomboy growing up; I used to resent pink, now its one of my favorite colors. 

2. I love Metal music. 

3. I took part in a doughnut eating contest. I won. It was delicious.

4. Don't know how to cook. Never cooked a meal in my entire life.

5. I love video games. You name it, I've played it.

6.  I met my favorite band 'Simple plan' as a teenager ( keyword, teenager, don't judge me), while I was walking home from school. 

7.  I've never been abroad.

8. I was afraid of snakes until like, two months ago.

9.  I volunteered for 5 years in 4 different organization.  

10.  I'm afraid of needles, and shots. It's so real that I almost passed out while receiving one.

11.  My shoe size is really 35.

 1. What would you like to do next year?
  To start my MA, hopefully. 

2. What do you prefer to eat: dark chocolate, milk chocolate or white chocolate?
   White chocolate. And don't tell me it's not real chocolate. It's real to me, and to my taste buds.

3. Who is the person you admire the most? Why?
My mother. Why, you ask?  Where do I start? Well, First she birthed me. So, thanks for that mom. That was really nice of her. On a more serious note, I admire her because she's everything I want to be.

4. Where do you see yourself in 10 years from now?
I see myself joining the " Back in my day.." club. Maybe even with a PHD in hand, lecturing in some college. I hope future me goes skydiving. 

5. Name five people you would like to go on a vacation with them.
1. someone who's funny.
2. someone who's adventurous.
3. someone who's cautious.
4.  someone who's good with maps and GPS.
5. Someone who knows first aid.


6. What makes you happy?
Eating pizza makes me happy. Pizza is love. Pizza is life.

7. What is your first memory?
Sitting in the street crying, when I was 2 or something, because I wanted the bunny from the pet store that my mother and I walked past. Wasn't even a real bunny. It was a picture (my mom's words).

8. Why did you decide to study special education?
I didn't decide, it just kind of happened. 

9. Do you have a nickname? What is it?
Yes I do. It's Toto. Proceed to laugh, I don't mind.

10. Where is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
My family's Land in Hebron. They have vines that goes on forever. The air, fresh and musty. And the green nature consumes you. Its just so cathartic. 

11. How many books you have read since the beginning of the year?
Four.

    1. Yes, I have played age of empires! and a lot more similar games like Yuri's Revenge,and Red Alart.However, the other two are very old. They probably aren't on playstation are they? because that is my main console at the moment.

  6. Regarding fact no 8 what happened two months ago that you stopped being afraid of them?
    And regarding no 7, when you go abroad what will be first country you'd like to visit?

    2. Shuruq helped me overcome my fear. She's great with animals. You can book a session with her, it will wash away any animal phobia you've got.

      Regarding the second question, I've been asked this question before, and honestly, I have no idea. But definitely some place warm, with a calm atmosphere, and definitely sand. Beach-like.

  7. Aya, I find it hard to believe that YOU of all people, were a tomboy. You say the doughnuts we delicious? Girl, you should try Dunkin' Donuts! They are Yummy!
    Are you being serious about not have had cooked a meal before? Please teach me how to that. I'm cooking a five course meal for twenty two people this weekend.
    So, you don't like being pricked... Same here Aya, and besides,who does? Nevertheless, giving blood is not as bad as having an IV inserted into your arm.
